Hockey ACT provides opportunities for players of all ages to represent Hockey ACT and selects its most promising players as its representatives to compete at a national level and invitational carnivals.  National Championships are organised by Hockey Australia and hosted by different states and territories.

Each year Hockey ACT invites nominations for the following teams (Indoor):

• Under 15 Men and Women
• Under 18 Men and Women
• Under 21 Men and Women
• Open Men and Women
