The 2012 Regional Boys Carnival will take place from Saturday 24 - Sunday 25 March at the National Hockey Centre in Lyneham. Team nominations are now open. If your association would like to be a part of the carnival in 2012, they should complete the Nomination form and return it to Kathleen McCaskie at Hockey ACT - events@hockeyact.org.au

Tournament Details
The Regional Boys Carnival is a 2 day tournament that provides a high standard of competition for Canberra and regional NSW teams.
The event is held at the National Hockey Centre, Lyneham and attracts over 20 teams and 300+ participants.
Age divisions (pending numbers) for the carnival comprise:
- Under 11 - Division 1
- Under 13 - Division 1
- Under 15 - Division 1
- Under 17 - Division 1
The tournament is played over two consecutive days, and it is intended that each team will play approximately four matches.
The weekend is structured to allow teams to play a series of pool matches. Teams are then ranked according to the number of points scored (3 for a win, 2 for a draw, 1 for a loss). Finals matches will be held to determine 1st and 2nd placings within each division.
Unfortunately the Carnival was not held in 2011, and we look forward to success with this years event. Hockey ACT thanks all associations for attending the 2010 Regional Boys Carnival and would like to congratulate the winners and runners up teams for 2010.
