ACT INDOOR TRAINING - A reminder that the U14, U16 and U18 ACT Boys and Girls sides do not train this weekend or next weekend due to a veterans carnival and Pacific School Games the following weekend. The U14-16 boys and girls will have a white board session on Thursday 27th November from 7-8:30pm in the Carter Brown Bar. The U14 teams will be posted on the website by 12pm on Monday 24th November.

QUIKSTIX 2008 - Hockey ACT requires umpires to assist for matches during our annual tournament. All umpires will be paid per match. It is a great opportunity to earn some extra cash before christmas. Any one interested should contact Alysa Turnbull on 6257 2374.

U14 & U16 Trials- The ACT U14 and U16 Boys and Girls Indoor sides will have a further trial this Saturday at Lyneham. Further info is available from the Rep Teams - Indoor link

UK PLAYING OPPORTUNITY - Chelmsford Men's Hockey club in the UK is looking for a player or player/coach for 2 months at the beginning of next year to join their team for the second half of the National League season more

CONGRATULATIONS to Jason Donohoe and Justin Ellis who have been named in two National Junior Squads. One to compete at the Junior World Cup Qualifer in December (11-14th) and the second at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in January 2009.

CONGRATULATIONS to Karina Lucas, Anna Flanagan and Sally Parks on their selections in respective National Junior Teams. Anna and Sally have been selected in the team to play in the Junior World Cup Qualifier event in Brisbane from the 5-15th December this year, while all three players have made the team to play in the Australian Youth Fesitval Olympic happening in January of next year.

ACTAS MEN'S TID: Nominations are being taken for 2008/2009 ACTAS Men's TID Program. This years program will run in January and February in preparation for the Australian U/18 National Championships in May. Along with those athletes who wish to simply improve thier hockey, all those who wish to play as part of the ACT U/18 Team in 2009 are encouraged to nominate for the TID program. Nominations close on the 7th November 2008.
