Midweek Tuesday 21 October to Thursday 11 December 2025

The Midweek social competition is aimed at existing hockey players who are looking to continue playing "the real deal" over the summer months. Games are played on a full-sized hockey field (91.4m long and 55m wide), with 4 x 17-minute quarters. Teams will play once per week on a Tuesday or Thursday. This year games will be held on both Tuesdays and Thursdays due to turf replacement and limited field availability. Games will be scheduled between 5:30 pm and finished by 10:30 pm. Teams are mixed gendered with all players required to be 13 years and above to play. A ladder will be kept for this competition with results entered via the RevSport portal each week. Bar tab prizes will be awarded to teams for the last round.

Sunday 2 November to 14 December 2025

The Sunday afternoon social competition is open to all and allows friends and family to play together in a relaxed and fun environment. The Sunday Social competition will be played on a full-sized field with 50 minute games consisting of 2 x 25 minute halves. The competition is played with modified social rules making it safer and more inclusive for all skill levels. Teams will play once per week on a Sunday. Games will be scheduled from 2pm. A ladder will be kept for this competition with results entered via the RevSport portal each week. Bar tab prizes will be awarded to teams for the last round.

Teams may nominate for any of the divisions/formats. However, should Hockey ACT reserve the right to move teams should we feel a team has entered into the wrong division.

Please note: both divisions remain social, they are aimed at allowing a more even skillset.

Division 1 (recommended for teams of current players - all grades)

Division 2 (recommended for teams with a mix of skill levels including current players, beginners and younger children/families).

Reminder: This is a social competition designed to allow friends and families to play together and introduce new players to our sport.

Division 1:

If your team is made up of current players (any grade) it is suggested that you register in Division 1.
