The Hockey ACT School Holiday Program, features a four day coaching program where participants will gain essential hockey knowledge and skills with experienced coaches running the sessions. Clinics will also feature guest coaching from Canberra Chill players.

An inclusive, fun and safe environment

Hockey ACT are committed to ensuring that all sessions are delivered in a fun and safe environment where children are able to participate, engage and make new friends. All clinics are fun, inclusive and suitable for children ages 5-12 who may have never played before, only played once or twice or who are currently playing with a club. Our coaches are able to adjust certain aspects to better suit the individual and different skill levels. Participants may attend any or all of the clinics, making it the perfect opportunity to try hockey or practice your skills before the 2022 season!

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

After signing your child in, they will be divided into smaller groups of similar ages. Children will participate in a range of different fun based Hockey games and drills such as Hockey Tennis, relays, umpired game, and agility circuits, participants will also get to train with a Canberra Chill Player. The clinics will take place on the outdoor hockey pitches as well as the indoor fields, allowing participants to play both indoor and outdoor formats. The days will also include indoor activities as well as both morning tea and lunch included in the cost.
