Chills & Skills Program


Hockey ACT is running 8 weeks of Chills & Skills sessions commencing Wednesday 14th February 2024.

The sessions are the perfect opportunity for new players to try Hockey and to allow junior players to develop their skills over the summer. Open to all children 10 years and under, the sessions will run on Wednesday afternoons between 4:30pm – 5:30pm at the National Hockey Centre in Lyneham.

Participants will get the opportunity to practice their skills on the outdoor fields, improving coordination, spacial awareness and overall game sense. Sessions are led by Hockey ACT coaches and will be modified to suit the skill level of players.

Location: Watt Field, National Hockey Centre Lyneham

Time: 4:30pm-5:30pm

Open to children 10 years and under

Children living with a disability are encouraged to join

 

2 - Step Registration Process

All players are required to pay the Hookin2Hockey insurance levy. 

If you have registered for a Hookin2Hockey program previously, please click returning member choose the HACT Hookin2Hockey 2024 membership.

New players will need to click new member, and choose the HACT Hookin2Hockey 2024 membership.

 

Prices & Levies:

$10 per session/$50 for 5 weeks

Mouthguards and shin pads are recommended, participants may bring their own hockey stick, otherwise a stick will be provided by Hockey ACT. Please contact participation@hockeyact.org.au to discuss options.
