ACTAS Announces 2026 High Performance Hockey Squad
Hockey ACT and the ACT Academy of Sport (ACTAS) are pleased to announce the 2026 ACTAS Hockey Squad. The squad reflects continued investment in elite development and the strong emerging performance pathway in the ACT.
The 2026 squad is currently preparing for a number of high-performance activities, including international tours and tournaments, national championships, and integration with key Hockey Australia camps and development programs. ACTAS scholarship holders will continue to access to elite coaching, facilities, and a world class performance services optimise performance outcomes.
A number of notable selections and transitions feature in this year’s announcement:
- Davis Atkin transitions into the Kookaburras environment full-time after many seasons in the ACTAS Squad.
- Sofia Havas, Zyanya Holloway and Katie Blackmore have each been upgraded to full scholarships following standout performances at the U18 national championships and through the ACTAS Emerging Performance Squad pathway. Their promotions highlight the strength of Hockey ACT’ pathway system and commitment to fostering elite talent.
ACTAS scholarship holders will converge throughout the year for training blocks aligned with national pathways and performance objectives, including participation in national camps, interstate fixtures, and designated international events.
