Canberra Chill Confirm Head Coaches for 2026 Hockey One Season

Canberra Chill is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Sureda as Women's Head Coach and the re-signing of Seyi Onitiri as Men's Head Coach ahead of the 2026 Hockey One season.

The appointments provide strong continuity for the Chill program, with both coaches having played significant roles in Canberra's Hockey One journey over recent years.

Sureda steps into the Women's Head Coach role after serving as both an Assistant Coach and Co-Coach within the Canberra Chill program since 2019. Throughout his time with the Chill, he has been instrumental in athlete development, high-performance planning and fostering a positive team culture.

On the men's side, Canberra Chill is delighted to announce that Seyi Onitiri has signed a new three-year contract extension, ensuring he will continue to lead the men's program through to at least the end of the 2028 Hockey One season.

Since taking charge in 2022, Seyi has been a driving force behind the Canberra Chill Men's program, helping establish a clear playing identity while developing emerging athletes and creating a strong team culture.

Preparations for the 2026 Hockey One season are already underway, with further announcements to continue in the coming weeks.
