Chill Challenge 2026

The Chill Challenge returns in 2026, giving CL1 and ACT U21 players the opportunity to showcase their talent and push for selection into the Canberra Chill.

Players must nominate and participate in the Chill Challenge matches to be eligible for selection.

Match Dates

Women

• Game 1 – Tuesday 24 March | 6:00–7:30pm | Canberra Girls Grammar

• Game 2 – Wednesday 8 April | 6:00–7:30pm | TBC

• Game 3 – Tuesday 14 April | 6:00–7:30pm | EPC Solar Hockey Stadium

Men

• Game 1 – Wednesday 25 March | 6:00–7:30pm | Canberra Girls Grammar

• Game 2 – Tuesday 7 April | 6:00–7:30pm | TBC

• Game 3 – Wednesday 15 April | 6:00–7:30pm | EPC Solar Hockey Stadium

Eligibility

Participants must:

• Be 21 years or older

• Be playing in the CL1 competition

• Be registered with Hockey ACT

• Nominate and play in the Challenge to be considered for Chill selection

Nomination Fee: $15

Additional Information

• Playing top and bottoms supplied (socks may need to be purchased).

• No on-field trainings – teams will receive a short online or whiteboard briefing.

• Clubs may be consulted if nomination numbers exceed available positions.
