2026 Hockey ACT School's Roadshow - Term 1

Hockey ACT are delivering Hockey clinics to Primary Schools in the ACT and surrounding region in the School's Roadshow. During term 1, Primary Schools will have the opportunity to have a free session run by Hockey ACT coaches. Students will be introduced to the sport through drills and skill-based games delivered in a fun, inclusive and safe environment. Teachers can also see the school sessions in action before booking a Sporting School's Program. All equipment is provided and sessions can be modified to suit all ages and skill levels.

Weeks 2, 3 and 4, Term 1: Monday 9th February - Friday 27th February, 2026

• Complimentary sessions delivered to primary schools
• Year 1 to Year 6
• 30-60 minute sessions
• Experienced Hockey ACT coaches
• All hockey equipment provided

The aim of the sessions is to provide a fun introduction to hockey as well as teach the basic skills of hockey such as ball control, dribbling and passing. The participants will have the opportunity to further develop their skills through the Hookin2Hockey pathway at a local club in the schools following the sessions.
