CDC TO PARTNER WITH CANBERRA CHILL

The Canberra Chill are excited to officially announce CDC as their Principal Partner for the 2025 Hockey One season.

Greg Boorer, Founder and CEO of CDC, generously stepped up to support the Canberra Chill following the withdrawal of their previous principal partner, ensuring the Chill could continue competing in the Hockey One League. CDC has a history of supporting the Chill through player partnerships, and this new principal partnership marks an important step forward for both organisations.

It is a positive step for the Canberra Chill who have impressed in recent seasons with both their Men's and Women's sides having narrowly lost in Grand Finals in 2023 and 2024. The partnership with CDC will be a huge boost as the Chill look to go one step better and return a maiden title to Canberra.

The Canberra Chill’s on-field, off-field, and training uniforms will proudly feature the CDC logo throughout the 2025 season — a visible symbol of this valuable partnership.

Hockey ACT CEO Rob Sheekey:

"On behalf of the Canberra Chill we are incredibly grateful to Greg Boorer and CDC for their support of our team. The Chill have been achieving amazing things both on and off the field and that was under serious jeopardy without a principal partner to help continue to grow the brand. Greg heard about our situation and took it upon himself to step in and assist the team and I cannot begin to tell you how ecstatic I was to receive that call. The Canberra Chill are proudly local and want to offer our players an opportunity to achieve great things on the national stage, and Greg and CDC share that vision. This is a great step for the Chill and we can’t wait to work closely with CDC to continue to achieve amazing results"

Founder & CEO of CDC Greg Boorer:

"As a long-time supporter of the Canberra Chill, I am thrilled to take on the role as the Principal Partner. The  passion, dedication, and talent of this team are truly inspiring, and I believe in their potential to achieve great things whilst being wonderful ambassadors for Canberra. I am delighted to be able to contribute to their success on and off the field and I look forward to being part of their journey”.

Please join the team in thanking Greg Boorer and CDC for their continued support of the Canberra Chill.
