EPC SOLAR SHINES BRIGHT WITH HOCKEY ACT
Published Wed 17 Sep 2025
Hockey ACT is proud to announce a landmark three-year partnership with EPC Solar (2025–2027), strengthening the future of hockey in the ACT both on and off the field.
As part of the agreement, the National Hockey Centre will be renamed the EPC Solar Hockey Stadium. EPC Solar will also become a Major Partner of the Canberra Chill, backing both the men’s and women’s teams throughout the 2025, 2026 and 2027 Hockey One seasons.
Investing in a Sustainable Future
This partnership goes beyond naming rights – it delivers lasting environmental impact. With EPC Solar’s expertise, Hockey ACT will:
- Rejuvenate our existing solar network at the EPC Solar Hockey Stadium, repositioning the current solar panels for maximum efficiency and upgrading to new inverters.
- Explore innovative sustainability projects, including the future installation of solar batteries and EV charging stations at both the EPC Solar Hockey Stadium and Tuggeranong Hockey Park.
Hockey ACT CEO Rob Sheekey said:
“True partnerships have a greater impact than money. Hockey ACT and the Canberra Chill partnership with EPC Solar will allow our organisation to achieve carbon neutral status and contribute to a sustainable future for our association and a contribution for the greater community. Our partnership with EPC Solar will be a game changer for our hockey community.”
EPC Solar’s Managing Director Daryn Stocks said:
“We’re proud to partner with Hockey ACT in a way that reflects both our commitment to the community and to sustainability. Together, we’ll deliver renewable energy solutions that benefit players, fans and the broader Canberra community.”
