Hockey ACT Partners with Sportway to Stream Matches from 2026

Get ready to watch more local hockey than ever before. Hockey ACT is excited to announce that from the 2026 season, senior matches from key ACT venues will be streamed live thanks to a partnership with Sportway.

Sportway was appointed by Hockey Australia in late 2023 as the official streaming partner for national hockey events, delivering high-quality broadcasts using AI-enabled ball-tracking cameras.

The installation of these cameras at ACT venues will allow matches to be streamed live and on demand via the LIVEHockey streaming platform, making it easier for families, fans and the broader hockey community to follow the action.

From 2026, matches streamed from the following venues will be available on LIVEHockey for $11 per month:
  • EPC Solar Hockey Stadium – Carter, Watt & Powell Fields
  • Tuggeranong Hockey Park – Kjar & Taylor Fields
These venues join the Goulburn Hockey Centre, where cameras were installed in conjunction with the 2024 National Country Championships.

This initiative will increase the visibility of hockey in the ACT, provide valuable match footage for players, coaches and officials, and make it easier for supporters who can’t attend games in person to stay connected to the sport.

Due to installation timelines, the cameras are expected to be operational from Round 3 onwards.
