HOCKEY ACT WELCOMES ELIZABETH SISLEY AS PRESIDENT

Hockey ACT is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Sisley as the new President of Hockey ACT, with Sally Dorsett elected as Vice President.

Elizabeth has been a valued member of the Hockey ACT Board since 2020, most recently serving as Vice President. During her time on the Board, she has played a significant role in supporting the continued growth, governance and strategic direction of hockey across the ACT and surrounding regions.

A passionate advocate for community sport and strong organisational leadership, Elizabeth brings extensive governance experience, a collaborative leadership style and a deep commitment to ensuring hockey continues to thrive at all levels of the game.

Elizabeth said she was honoured to take on the role and excited for the future of Hockey ACT.

"I am incredibly honored to be appointed as the new President of Hockey ACT. Community sport is the heartbeat of our region, and my focus will be ensuring that hockey remains a welcoming, accessible, and truly inclusive space for everyone—from our grassroots juniors to our high-performing athletes.

I look forward to working closely with our clubs, volunteers, and elite players to foster a positive, supportive culture where every member of our community feels they belong and can thrive both on and off the pitch."

Hockey ACT also congratulates Sally Dorsett on her appointment as Vice President. Sally brings valuable experience, leadership and a strong connection to the hockey community, and will play an important role in supporting the organisation’s ongoing development.

Under the leadership of Elizabeth Sisley and Sally Dorsett, Hockey ACT looks forward to continuing its focus on participation growth, strong community connections, high-performance pathways and delivering positive experiences for everyone involved in the sport.
