Hockeyroos & Senior Performance Squads Announced

Hockey ACT is pleased to congratulate Alyssa Smith, Georgina West and Georgie Smithers on their selection in Hockey Australia’s 2026 Senior Performance Squad.

The Senior Performance Squad forms a key part of Hockey Australia’s national high-performance program, recognising athletes who have demonstrated the potential, performance standards and commitment required to progress towards future Australian senior team representation.

Selection in the 2026 squad provides athletes with access to nationally aligned high-performance support, including targeted development opportunities, training environments and performance monitoring, as part of Hockey Australia’s long-term pathway for elite athletes.

Hockey ACT acknowledges the dedication and professionalism shown by Alyssa, Georgina and Georgie throughout their performances at state and national level, and congratulates their coaches, clubs and support networks for their role in the athletes’ continued development.

Hockey ACT looks forward to supporting the athletes throughout the 2026 program and wishes them every success as they continue their progression within Hockey Australia’s high-performance system.
