HOOKIN2HOCKEY CARNIVALS

As Hockey Australia's national introductory program, Hookin2Hockey provides children aged 10 and under with an opportunity to participate in Hockey, in a fun and safe atmosphere, with modified rules on a smaller sized playing area.

Hookin2Hockey carnivals provide an opportunity for participants to apply the skills they have developed during the program as well as meet and play with other clubs.

Northside Hookin2Hockey Carnival

Date: Saturday 15th June 2024

Time: 9am - 12pm

Location: Nicholls Synthetic Oval, behind Gold Creek and Holy Spirit Catholic Schools, Nicholls

Southside Hookin2Hockey Carnival

Date: Saturday 17th August 2024

Time: 9am - 12pm

Location: Pearce Synthetic Field. Pearce 2 oval can be accessed off Marr St, Pearce and is located beside the Melrose High School, which sits on the western edge of the ground.

Games:

7 players per team

All skill levels

Ages 4-8 (2 age groups, U6's and U8's)

15 minute games facilitated by club members and Hin2H coaches

5 minute break in between each timeslot

BBQ:

The BBQ at the event will be managed by TBC. Clubs: please contact participation@hockeyact.org.au if you are interested in entering the ballot.

All participants are entitled to a free sausage sizzle. Vouchers will be distributed to clubs on the day. Club members & spectators are welcome to purchase items for a small cost.
