Hookin2Hockey – Bring a Friend Week

Hookin2Hockey is Hockey Australia’s junior entry program, designed to introduce children to hockey in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. With a focus on participation, making friends, and learning new skills, it’s the perfect way to get involved in hockey.

From 16–25 May 2026, Hockey ACT clubs across the ACT & Young will be taking part in Bring a Friend Week!

Hockey Albury-Wodonga will be running their sessions on Saturday 23rd May. Wangaratta and United will be running their session on Thursday 21st 4:30pm-5:30pm.

Current Hookin2Hockey participants are encouraged to invite a friend along to their session to try hockey for free. If your child doesn’t know anyone currently playing hockey, that’s completely okay too — everyone is welcome to come along and give hockey a try!

To register, please complete the form below with:

• Your child’s details (the current participant or person attending)
• Your friend’s details (if bringing a friend)

By registering, you’ll go into the draw to win a range of exciting prizes!

Hockey ACT Prizes

• The club with the most registrations will win a Canberra Chill Game Day Experience.
• One lucky friend who attends during Bring a Friend Week will win a Canberra Chill Family Membership.

Hockey Australia Participant Prizes

• The first 200 kids nationally to register a friend will receive a $15 Roll’d voucher.
• In each State/Territory, two participants (one boy and one girl) will be randomly selected to win:
  • A Hockeyroos top
  • A Kookaburras top

Hockey Australia Club Prizes

• The top 2 clubs nationally will each win a Kookaburra Club Kit.
• The club with the highest percentage of friends per registrations will also win a Kookaburra Club Kit.
• The top club in each State/Territory will receive a $250 Roll’d voucher.
